About Elizabeth

In March 2025, I took a leap of faith and started Elizabeth Alice Makes, my own business where I design and make bespoke accessories & props for the screen and private clients.

I’m passionate about props / costume and all things Art Department, creating imaginative, handcrafted work for television, digital, retail, and bespoke clients. As Art Director, Prop Maker, Buyer, Set Dresser, I have a wealth of experience if you need Art Department for your next project or something bespoke making from my workshop lets get chatting!

With over ten years’ experience in the television industry, I’ve worked across a wide range of platforms and styles, creating props, costumes, and set dressing for productions on BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, CBeebies, and CBBC. I thrive in fast-paced environments with tight turnarounds and enjoy the challenge of delivering high-quality work for both live and pre-recorded shoots.

Alongside my television career, I have six years’ experience in retail as a Visual Merchandiser for both nationwide department stores and independent retailers. I continue to freelance for businesses, designing and making bespoke props and visual displays. Story telling through visual form is my passion.
